The Bradford Bog People is a trio who plays lively foot stomping traditional music of the Appalachian Mountains - from Eastern Kentucky, the Virginias, Ozarks, and North Carolina - performed on banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and guitar. Their music features rhythmic clawhammer banjo and fiddle (dance tunes), unusual fiddle tunes played in archaic tunings, and ballads. Our mission is to play great old-time music for fun, entertainment, and education. Performance venues include barn dances, summer bandstands, coffeehouses, conferences, festivals, farmers' markets, and pubs in New England.
