This weekend’s best variety and concentration of live music is without a doubt in Keene. But if big crowds are not your thing, you do have other options in the area.  Here are three:

Shana Stack Band Portrait 2014

The band has received several awards this past year, including  New England Music Awards Country Act of the Year,  the Independent Country Music Association's Country Band of the Year and the Fans Choice Award, and World's Best Indie Band by Wiles Magazine.  Tickets are $15. The show includes a cash bar and if you are feeling adventurous, there is a mechanical bull for you to ride.  The fun begins at 7:30 and is an all ages show. Click here for more information

Nasty Geckos

If you are in the mood for some good old rock and roll on Friday, the Nasty Geckos will be at the Jaffrey Lab'n Lager beginning at 8:30. This five piece band plays classic and alternative rock.

Glenn Kelly

On Saturday,  Glen Kelly returns to the Living Room Coffee House  in Mason. Local musicians and spoken word artists perform beginning at 7:00.  Glenn starts around 8:00 with his repertoire of fine piano tunes.  Home baked goods and beverages are served up and are included in the suggested donation price of $5.00.
