On Sunday, January 11, enjoy an afternoon of choral selections and dramatic readings when the award-winning Peterborough Chamber Choir presents Blessed Be the Time—A Celebration of Epiphany in Story and Song. The concert features a capella works from the 16th – 21st century by Tomás Luis de Victoria, Richard Rodney Bennett, Benjamin Britten, and Peterborough Chamber Choir director David Vernier.
The special guest for this concert is Project Shakespeare, a theater arts program in Jaffrey directed by Deborah Thurber. The program includes drama and poetry selections by Shakespeare, Ogden Nash, Louisa May Alcott and more.
The concert, which begins at will be held at the All Saints Church at 51 Concord Street in Peterborough. Admission is by donation; proceeds will benefit the music program at the church.
